Kate's Birthday- 2nd Grade

 Kate's 2nd Grade Birthday spotlight.

She brought 5 things in the Birthday bag to share.

1. She took a soccer ball, because she likes to play soccer.

2. Pictures of her two pet turtles, squirt and crush.

3. An American Girl Doll, because she loves and collects dolls.

4. The Liberty Bell (mini soveniour),
because Kate likes to travel.

5. Zebra, because Kate LOVES zebras.

She took mentos for everyone in the class and

she wore the special Birthday classes while we sang to her.

Kangaroo Zoo, Park & Picnics

We miss Abby and Kate while they are

in school all day.  What to do while they are gone?!

Kangaroo Zoo, picnics, and fire engine park.

I am so lucky to still have these two

little princesses to hang out with.

I love watching them play together.

Sisters are the best!

Rough Day for Abby

 On the second day of school, Abby hurt

her right leg.  She couldn't walk at all.

Her teacher wheeled her down in the school lunch cart,

and we wheeled her into the dr.  Despite the pain,

no broken bones, but a very strained quad.

A little rest, ice packs, and lots of love!!

Abby is already feeling a lot better.

Planes & Other Back to School Fun

The girls had early out on the 1st day of school....

so we went to see Planes to celebrate!

We gave the girls a few back to school presents,
water bottles, pencils, and tried out the new Dunkin Donuts.

 The day ended with this amazing sunset.
I love the view from our house.
