Squirt survived another cold winter.
I just didn't think he would hibernate

and live to tell about it.  He did it!

HAPPY EASTER!!

As an Easter gift to our girls, we hid 

Season Lagoon Passes, in these cute pastel Easter Eggs.

They were excited and suprised.

The kids have been so excited for Easter.

This year the girls got new Easter baskets.

 Lucy loved gathering eggs.  We gave her a head start.

I have learned not to push as a Mom. :-)

After all of the Easter Bunny Fun, we watched a movie together

on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and went to church.

I am so grateful for this time of year and time to reflect on

the gifts of the gospel.

I am so grateful for our four wonderful daughters.

 We were able to visit both sets of grandparents on Easter.
We visited Grammy & Papa J

and a had dinner with Gradma & Grandmpa Smedley.

 What a wonderful day to have gratitude.

Thanksgiving Point

 We enjoyed a day at Thanksgiving Point last week.

The girls LOVED all of the baby animals
 and the pony rides.

Swimming one day ~ Snowing the next

SLC Half Marathon

 We did it!  After weeks of training, we ran

the SLC Half Marathon today. It was a

beautiful run through a city with many memories.

The best part of all was running with my best friend.

He said this was "our" race and made it 

a fun race for me! Yay for running 13.1 miles!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Grammy tooks the girls to visit Tami,

and to their egg hunt.  Lulu wasn't too sure

of the Easter Bunny again this year. :-)

JA City

~ Welcome to JA City ~

On the 4th Floor, above Discovery Gateway,

there is an amazing city called Junior Achievement City.

The 5th Graders from Oak Hills have been preparing

for their opportunity to create their own city for a day.

Abby was elected CEO of Simmons Radio,

and did an amazing job running her company,

and giving a speech at the Opening Town Meeting.

  James and I were volunteers at First Security Bank.

Abby came to do bussiness with us.

The kids run the city.

They each had a job, and earned a paycheck and could go

shopping.  Here is Abby shopping at JA City.

 Dick Prows is our amazing neighbor and friend

who granted the money to the school, so that the kids could

have this amazing opportunity.

Today was an incredible day!  What an amazing
expereience for Abby and the 5th Graders at Oak Hills.

Running

 I am training to run the Salt Lake Half

Marathon.  Last Saturday I ran 10 miles.

When I finished the girls 

had made me breakfast, cards....

 and even a trophy and a medal.

I am so grateful to have these fans....

and beautiful girls in my life!
