Day 4 - Lake Tahoe

Day 3 - Lake Tahoe

We spent the day at the beach.

All I can say is wow!

The beaches are so beautiful at Lake Tahoe.

The kids loved laying in the warm sand.

While we were at the beach,

James set out to bike

all the way around the lake....84 miles.

He did it!  He is so awesome!

After a full day at the beach,

we had dinner and swam at the hotel.

All tuckered out. Another fun day at Tahoe!

Day 2 - Lake Tahoe & Emerald Bay

Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe

 This was my favorite day of our whole trip.

Emerald Bay is AMAZING! It is SO beauitful.

The island in the middle is called, Fannette Island.

 We took the Vikingsholm trail down to the water.

There is a really old castle right on the water. 

 I LOVE going anywhere and everywhere with this guy! 

The kids found their own island.

They named it Pirate Island.

Lucy LOVED the animals.

We also hiked to Eagle Falls.

I love the bridges and falls. So peaceful.

Linking arms we couldn't even hug half the tree.

Lucy could fit inside of this tree.

 Lucy's sweet ride on the way back up. 

We ate lunch at Beacon Grill,

right on the water. So fun.

After lunch we rented bikes. 

Everyone LOVED our family bike ride.

They have really fun bike paths.

Luckily we didn't run into any bears, just one crazy dog.

We rode 7 miles.

My view.  I love our little family.

These two giggled and

sang the whole time.

Jamba Juice & Subway for dinner 

& swimming at the hotel pool were a great ending to the day.

A very fun day at Tahoe. 

Day 1 - Lake Tahoe

 After our vacation in San Francisco....

we needed a relaxing vacation. :-)

We decided to stay in Lake Tahoe for a few days. 

It is so fun that the first letters 

in each of our girls names, spells the word LAKE.

L=Lucy A=Abby K=Kate E=Ella

  Our hotel was on the South side of the the lake

in Califonia, right on the State Line.  

  The first night we went to dinner
and walked through all

of the fun shops.

Abby found this cute sweatshirt.
I love it. I feel safer having a life guard around.

Everyone was ready for a good nights sleep 

in a fun new place.

Day 5 - Last Day in San Fran

 On our last day in San Francisco,

We drove to go see 

The Painted Ladies. The famous houses

with the city in the background.

We drove by Lombard Street.

(The famous zigzag street). 

  I got to drive over The San Francisco Gate Bridge.

I was super excited about this.  What a beautiful bridge.

On the other side of the bridge

we stopped at Muir Woods. Beautiful trees.

We had a great time in San Francisco!!

We hope to visit again.
