We had a fun time ice skating as a family.

first time ice skating.

 Ella was so brave.

We ended the night shopping at 

H&M and having dinner at Johnny Rockets.

We  LOVED the music and the waiters dancing.

It was a fun family night out!

Everyone, but missing the Durans this year.

The weather was amazing this year.

The kids spent a lot of time playing outside.

Lots of time for games.

Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

This year our ward is doing a 40 day fast.

Each family signs up for a different day to fast as 

a family.  We chose to fast on the Wednesday before

Thanksgiving. I wanted this is be a

memorable day for our family.

With the kids out of schooll,

we decided it would be the perfect day

to see the Joseph Smith movie

at the Legacy Theatre.  It was a wonderful

experience for our family.

 Our ward is also collecting 450 board games to 

wrap and give to a title 1 school in Salt Lake.

We had fun buying and wrapping presents

for this great cause. 

We each picked a different game to give.

To break our fast we had dinner at The Garden.

After a day of fasting and gift giving to others,

it was fun for our kids to start thinking about

what they would like for Christmas.

 The girls filled out their

Christmas wish lists.

Lucy still loves pink piggies.

 After dinner we mailed our letters

to Santa Claus in this cute mailbox.

It was a great day & way to get in the hoilday spirit.

Let is Snow

 Today was our first big snow storm

with enough snow to shovel.

 We were all excited to wake up to snow.

Parent Teacher Conferences

ABBY - 6th GRADE

I love Parent Teacher Conference Week.

I love hearing about all that our girls are learning,

and to be in their classrooms. 

I love celebrating all of their hard work!!

Abby made Epytian Masks.

We love her teacher Mrs. Pitt. She is having an

incredible year and learning so much.

Book Fair

 Ella loves her teacher, Mrs. Stuart.  

Ella is reading on a 3rd grade

level and recently started reading chapter books.

Ella is a good friend and very thoughtful.

Kate put together a power point to show me

for her conference.  She also has an amazing teacher

this year, Mrs. Pickett.  Kate loves school.

 Kate made this awesome t-shirt at school.

Her teacher makes school so edcuational and so fun.

 I feel so grateful that all of our girls have

such incredible school teachers.

They love school and they love learning

and they are all quick learners.

That is a huge reason to celebrate!!

Abby won First Place at Oak Hills Elementary

and took 2nd Place at the 

District Competion at St Olaf's.

 KATE
Kate won Third Place at Oak Hills Elementary

and took 2nd Place at the 

District Competion at St Olaf's.

  They had a lunch and award ceremony at 

The Lion's Club afterwards.
