LOTOJA WEEKEND ~ 2014

LOGAN ~ FRIDAY NIGHT

We have all been waiting for this weekend!

James has preparing for months for this big race.

3 States ~ 200 miles ~ 

And a goal to finish in less than 10 hours.

LOTOJA Bike Race from Logan to Jackson Hole.

We stayed overnight in Logan. Abby, Kate & I
headed to the pool while James got his bike ready.

 Salt pills, gu, shots, ready go....

SATURDAY ~ RACE DAY MORNING

James wore his lucky green socks

so we could easily spot him on the course.

Brant & Nikki met us at our hotel.

James & Brant had a start time of 7:21.

Mo had a start time of 7:09.

 First support stop, Montpelier Idaho. Mile 77.

 James was not in the best of moods....but determined to

make his way towards Big Mountain.

 The girls and I stopped for lunch in Soda Springs.

There were 6 of us doing support crew this year.

We met James in Alpine, WY.

Chocolate milk break.  Mile 157.

 We drove along side James  & the Snake River.

James finished strong.

Finish Line ~ Awesome Job

200 Miles ~ 3 States

9 Hours and 46 minutes

I am so proud of James!!  

He has worked so hard and he did great!!

After a hot shower, we headed out to dinner

and to explore Jackson Hole. This was Kate's first time.

It was a wonderful LOTOJA weekend!

Lucy & Ella stayed with Grandma Janet & Grandpa Roger.

They had a fun weekend too.
