Summer fun

Summer, Summer, Summer!
Days are filled with whateverness...
Here are some random pictures of our fun summer so far.
Kate, KJ, and Emma trying to stay cool in the sun!
We set up this volleyball net on the side of our house.
The kids play tennis, bat mitten, volleyball, and even limbo under it (Kate's idea).
The kids love to create car washes and clean all of their bikes.
Every activity seems to end in water!
Each Tuesday we head to Three Little Monkey's
for their summer craft classes.
So far the girls have made stepping stones, pop stick art,
and their favorite...a science lab where they made snow in the middle of June!
Abby participated in her first Achievement Day activity! Saddie and Sarah, our cute twin neighbors called, and even came to pick Abby up.
She is so lucky to have so many nice girls our age in the ward. They went ice skating at The Bountiful Rec. Center and had an ice cream party!
We bought a zoo pass, and have enjoyed a few days at the zoo!
(The girls can't get enough of that baby elephant.)
We visited Castle Park.
Even Lucy had fun on the swings!
We had a late over party with the Nicoll's and the Bell's,
who came to visit us from California!
For some reason on this particular night,
3 of the neighbor boys doorbell ditched us at least 20 times!!!
They must have known where all of the pretty girls were.
Riley and Abby cute friends!
Lots of silly times, and staying up late!
Lots of time to dress, change clothes,
and dress up again!
Daily chores.
The kids know....before the fun...
lots of work to be done!
(However, I have concluded that we will never be caught up on laundry!)
It is always an adventure with these girls!
They are a lot of fun to be with!
Everywhere we go....it is girls day out!
All day long!
We LOVE warm summer nights!
We are enjoying all of the beautiful sunsets!

Differences

We have been talking about the differences between Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland in California. Here is what we came up with.

Here are the rides found at Disneyland/California, but not at Magic Kingdom in Florida:
Alice in Wonderland ride
Toon Town
Indiana Jones
Has all of the Princesses in It's A Small World
Has Matterhorn

Here are the advantages to Magic Kingdom in Florida that you won't find at Disneyland/California:
Aladin ride
Space People Mover
Splash Mountain has a lap bar
Castle is much cooler (3 little girls opinion)

Day 6 - Swim, Eat Repeat

Lots of swimming.
The pools were amazing. The kids LOVED the sand bar
through the middle of the kids pool.
They built sand castles and played and swam and swam!
The hotel had water slides, a lazy river and pools galore.
Lunch by the pool.
They had a huge pirate ship for the kids to play on.
Another night on the beach watching movies and roasting
marshmallows at the bonfire...
and more Epcot fireworks!
Each night on our trip I left the kids little presents and souvenirs!
The kids are fun to surprise!

Lazy Daze back at the hotel

Storm Along Bay
Lazy River
More swimming and more water slides.
We ate at one of the hotel Restaurants ~
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop.
It is a cute 50s dinner.
Mickey Mouse Sundae's for dessert
The hotel had a fun arcade.
The kids loved the motorcycle ride.
Then more swimming!
Last night of swimming under a full moon.
Last night of beach bonfires, lazy rivers and staying up late!

Day 6 - Downtown Disney

We ate dinner at T-REX. We had never been there before.
It is a lot like Rainforest Cafe, only it is all about dinosaurs. We ate in the ice cave.
