Yay Ella!  Our Cheerleader!
Pink Poodle Skirt ~ 50's Girl
School Halloween Parade
I love these parades.  The kids ALWAYS act like
they don't see us...and they try NOT to smile! :-)

School Parties
I helped with Ella's class party.
We made ghost suckers and told riddles.
Great Neighbor's
We had a neighborhood dinner at The Dellenbach's.
The Bahr's were so cute their twin babies.
The Hess' get best costumes this year!
Trick-Or-Treating
We headed out with The Dehner's to Trick-Or-Treat.
I love our neighborhood.
Beautiful Fall weather.
The Smith's always entertain with their
hot cocoa and homemade root beer.
Abby met up with Olivia and Brooklyn.
They get the prize for the most candy.
Abby came home with 14 king size
candy bars and over 100 pieces of candy.
We went trick or treating to Kate's school teacher's
house, Mrs. Thompson.  We also went to Mrs. Jones.
Our Spanish Dancer twins and zombie basketball player.
After 3 hours of fun we came home and sorted candy...
watched the front door camera for trick-or-treaters and
played twister with the disco ball.....
and then played the 7, 11, double candy bar game.
It was a Spocktacular Halloween!

Living The Dream
 By Abby - 5th Grade
I like playing basketball outside in the fresh air.
I enjoy practicing my dribbling, passing, and shooting.
I love the feeling when I make a shot.
That’s when I know I am improving.
I dream of being a professional and hope I can become one.
I believe everyone can be successful
at what they love if they practice.
I hope to inspire my younger sisters to
stay active and find something they love.

Silver Lake
By Kate - 2nd Grade
Silver Lake looks so pretty when the light reflects on the water.
I hiked around it with my family and dreamed of painting it.
I took a picture with a camera and painted this so I could share it with others.

Princess
By Ella - Kindergarten
Everyone can be a princess.

Sunday Walk

It is wonderful living so close to the temple.
I love taking the girls on such beautiful walks.

Kate's Blue Tooth

Kate lost Tooth # 3
Kate woke up Saturday morning with a blue tooth.
The half dangling tooth was hanging by a thread for weeks.
By Sunday night, I told her we had to pull it out.
Tears, screaming, and blood. She was so brave.
We had a FHE on Sunday night and talked about
how we are each daughters of God.
In the process of trying to get Kate's tooth out, she said,
"I don't feel like a daughter of God."
It was the sadest thing I think I have ever heard.
She is such a sweet girl and I hope one
day we can use this experience as a life analogy.
I love you Kate!  You are so brave!!

Gardner Village

We finally made it to Gardner Village,
"witch" was really fun!
Kate and her favorite witch.
Ella had so many favorite witches.
Lulu who had feared going, fell in love
with the witches, and is still talking about them.

This is another one of our favorite Halloween traditions.
We ended the night going out to dinner as a family.
Even James had fun....
