More Swimming

We have been in the water a ton this summer! The kids are loving it! Abby and Kate are taking swimming lessons 4 days a week, for the next month! Lots of summer fun!

Beautiful Hair

A day at the hair salon!
I love the girl who cuts my hair!
Ever since Kate cut Ella's hair last year,
I have been taking the girls to my girl!
She does such an amazing job!

I love Abby's blond hair!
It gets so blond in the summer sun!Wow! Kate with straight hair!
I LOVE Ella's A Line!
She has the cutest little neck!

Their hair turned out darling!
If only I had the patience to spend 3 hours on their hair everyday!

Hire Kate

Kate's Bake Sale
Cookies $.25

Kate would really like a pillow pet! Everyday she recites the TV commercial to me.
They cost $20. Her Birthday is in August, and I told her that we will get her one for her birthday, if that is what she really wants. She thinks August is too far away! So, Kate made me a sign which reads, "Hire Kate...I can bake cupcakes, or cookies. I take really good pictures."

Today Kate had a Bake Sale. She made cookies and sold them.
She made $3.00. Way to go Kate!

The hardest part Kate has told me is not going to be earning the money, rather "choosing just one" just like the commercial says!

Father's Day

So many reasons to love...
We love our Dad!
Each of the girls were excited about Father's Day! They each made a "Daddy and Me" book with a story and pictures of things they enjoy doing with their Dad. They were so excited to make them and to wrap them up!
What do we love about you?
You are a good listener, make things fun, take us on fun vacations,
like to do active things with us, we love playing games with you,
we like reading books, we like playing in the yard,
we like to go to Lowe's and drive the cool cars,
we like to go in Daddy's car!

Oh Deer

We enjoy the deer that pass through our yard. One day we had 16 deer pass through our yard at one time. It was amazing! Another time, we had a dead deer on our driveway. It was so mangled the kids thought it was a monkey. We had to call and have it picked up. Still another time, we saw a deer get hit by a car full of young teenagers. The police came and had to shoot the deer to its death. That was really sad.

Today, we had our favorite deer stop by. It was a large deer, who enjoyed the shade of our trees for 7 hours. As the shade moved, he would get up and move a foot and sit back down! We all enjoyed watching him throughout the day. Perhaps he will come again!

Disney Characters

On this trip to Disneyland, we decided to buy autograph books! The girls had a lot of fun getting pictures and autographs with so many Disney Characters!
Mickey Mouse!
The girls were thrilled to see Mr. Incredible!
Minnie is always a favorite!
Ella was a little bit scared of Goofy!
Handy Mandy!

Besides meeting so many characters,
we also enjoyed a lot of shows!!!
We loved the Aladdin Show, The Crush show,
The Disney Playhouse Show, and The High School Musical Show,
Bugs 4 D, and finally the Pixar Parade!

Ariel's Grotto - Princess Lunch

Lunch With The Disney Princesses

Princess Snow White
Princess Belle - Kate's Favorite Princess
Princess Ariel
Princess Aurora - Ella's favorite Princess
Princess Cinderella - Abby's favorite Princess

Last summer, in 2009, we took the girls to Disneyland. We had a great time, however we left Disneyland without seeing a single princess. Not one!!! The girls were so disappointed!
So this trip to Disneyland, we made sure to book a Princess luncheon months in advance so that we would be sure to see all of the pretty princesses.
It was a lot of fun to meet each one and to have them sign
their autographs. The girls were in princess heaven!

High School Musical

We love High School Musical. Kate wore her HSM outfit the whole day at Disneyland! She was even invited to go up and dance at the HSM street performance!
The kids sang along to all of the songs and smiled all the while.
Lots of fun!

Disneyland

Disneyland 2010

We couldn't visit Southern California without a trip to Disneyland! We decided to spend 2 days at the happiest place on earth! The first day we spent with my family. It was so fun to have Grandma, Aunt Amy, Aunt Emily, Uncle Nathan and cousins John and Will, with us at Disneyland.

Watching the Pixar Parade...all 5 cousins.
Ages: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6!!!
We spent 14 hours at Disneyland!
We arrived at 7:45 am and left at 10:00 pm after the fireworks!
The amazing thing is that not one of the kids had a meltdown!
Our secret...one kid to every one adult!
5 kids=5 adults
