Abby

Today was a big day for Abby! She gave a talk in Primary about Feasting on the word. She did a wonderful job. Tonight, we had Abby's Baptismal Preview. There are 11 kids in our ward who will be baptized this year. Abby will be baptized on June 4. What a special day that will be. Our Primary Presidency is amazing. They gave the kids a booklet of things they can do to prepare for this special decision. We are excited and proud of our Abby.

Miss Mommy's Preschool

Miss Mommy's Preschool is back after a nice Christmas break!
This week we talked about fruit and cut open lots of different fruits to see how different the outside and the inside look, and taste. We sampled lots of different types of fresh juice! Kate loved being the juice queen! Grapefruit and orange were the favorites!
Making Colors
This week we also talked a lot about colors,
and how to use the primary colors to create new colors!
We read, "What Makes a Rainbow?" Then we made Rainbow cookies and pies!
We also learned the rainbow song!

New Washer & Dryer

The week after Christmas we moved the kids rooms all around. We set up the crib and the nursery, gave Ella her own room, and moved Abby and Kate into a new room to share! We did laundry nonstop...bedding, blankets, clothes. I think we washed every possible article of clothing in the whole house. Needless to say we ran the washer into the ground! The morning after our big move, the washer was completely broken. Time for a new washer and dryer!
I didn't know front loaders were meant for kids! However, Kate and Ella have informed me that since they can reach the washer and dryer now, they will be doing all of the laundry!
Needless to say, I am thrilled about this new purchase!!!

Ella Singing

I found Ella in the living room singing and strumming away, today! I love her little voice and the lyrics to the songs she makes up! She usually sings about pink, keeping mean guys away, and all that is beautiful! She is so sweet! I love being her mom!

New Primary Classes

Ella is a SUNBEAM!!!

Today Ella became a big girl! She is so excited to be in Primary, although she admitted to me, being in nursery is more fun! "They have puzzles, and string cheese, and we get to sit on the ground to sing....not on chairs!" It may take some time, but Ella is sure to love Sunbeams!
Ella even had her body traced on a poster which reads,
"I Am a Child of God!"
Kate is in CTR 5.
Abby is in CTR 7.

I love being in Primary!!! Our Primary is so large, around 95 kids, that they split it into Junior and Senior beginning this year. Because of the 2 year spacing of our girls....all 3 girls sit on the left side of room, one behind the other! Ella's class is on the first 2 rows, Kate's class is on the middle rows, and Abby's class sits right behind Kate on the last 2 rows! I love it!
I love seeing them all lined up!
We have a wonderful primary with so many good teachers and leaders!
