Freezing & Power Outage

It has been SO cold!  This is just one of the many huge

icicles we have hanging on our house in this

frigid cold Janaury.

 The kids took the icicles in the bathtub 

for some warmer winter fun! 

 One night the power turned off for a good solid hour.

We sat by the fire, with our flashlights and latern,

and read books and played Racko. What a good reminder

of the blessing it is to have a warm house, and electricity.

As much fun as it was,
we all cheered when the power came back on!

Miss January - Abby Jane

She looks sweet, and innocent.....and she is,

but WOW she is also SO BRAVE!

Only one person in our family is brave enough to

sled in the single digits day after day!

She LOVES all of this snow and LOVES sledding!  

The Stevenson's own 9 acres of the best sledding hills.  

Even James was impressed with the hills.  

That is saying a lot!  He he!

It is cold....but Abby will sled no matter what!

Mommy Allo

  We love Mommy Allo!

We are so lucky to have 2 Great Grandmothers living.

Mommy Allo recently moved to a care center.

We went to visit and to see her new place.

This is how I find Abby every night when we check on her.

She is such an amazing reader.  She finds time to read

a couple of hours every day, even with dance, piano,

basketball, homework, sledding, and everything else she squeezes into her days!
