 We found out today that Kate's photography piece

is a District Reflections Winner.

Her piece is going on to State!

 Here is Kate's name on the Oak Hills Elementary marquee.  
There are two students from Oak Hills.  Exciting!

Abby & Kate have early morning

rehearsals for their upcoming school play.

They go every Tuesday & Wednesday at 7:30 am.

I went this morning to help.  They were fun to watch.

Anaheim

Our Castle

We stayed the first night in Las Vegas, and then at this hotel

in Anaheim.  It was right next to Disneyland.  We could walk

into the park and catch the shuttle.  So fun to be so close.

 Each night I left a present on

the girls pillow.  The first night

we gave them Disney nightgowns.

 Painting Princess toes.

 Our hotel had bunkbeds, which was GREAT!!

The kids thought it was so fun to have their own room.

 The weather was amazing.

It was nice to have warm weather.

We had lots of fun swimming at the hotel.

Mickey's Party

We had a Mickey Mouse party to get us excited for

our trip to Disneyland.  

We made Mickey Mouse pizza's and served 

everything in Mickey shaped bowls.

 I love the creative faces.

We made Mickey Mouse Sundae's for dessert. 

 We have been watching all of our favorite Disney

movies and books.  Lucy's new favorite movie is Dumbo.

We watched Indian Jones with the whole family.

Disneyland here we come.

Abby's Basketball

Abby LOVES basketball.

This year Abby is #10!! 

It is a lot of fun to watch Abby play.

It was a tough game tonight.

They played a really tall team. 

I am beginning to see there is a BIG difference

in size between 5th grade and 6th grade girls.

Inversion

  We need snow!!  

We have never seen the Inversion so thick....mixed with fog.

  Before school we went out on the back deck to look

at the puffy clouds of white.

I love it when the kids are out of school. 

We hit the craft store, the dollar store,

and then went bowling at Orchard Lanes.

 Ella & I tied today.
We both scored 100 points.

 We kind of have this thing going.  Kate is convinced that

I don't know how to spell Kathryn...the right way.

It happened again today.... ha ha!!
