Day 3 - Race Day in Park City

Race Day

Tour de Park City ~ 156 Miles

Race Day we were all up bright and early.

 It was fun to see James off.

  Start time 7:12 am....All Smiles....

 While James rode in his race.....

We did some Back To School Shopping at The Outlets.

We walked along the Park City trail to Shoe Tree Park.

We played at Park City park.

 Music Park 

 We made it back in time to see James cross

the finish line at 3:02 pm.  He was 10th in his category.

He did AMAZING!!

After a quick swim to cool off.....

We headed to Baja Cantina to celebrate our awesome Dad.

Lucy revealed her secret plan 

that she wants to grow up and be in a bike race like Dad....

and we can come and watch. 

So proud of this AMAZING guy!

 We headed back to the condo and
watched the second National Treasurer.

Some of us even stayed awake until the end of the movie.

It was an exciting day!

Day 2 - The Lodge at Park City

 We had a relaxing morning at the pool.

 Lucy LOVES the hottub.

In the afternoon we headed to The Outlets.

 We shopped and the girls played on the

playground while James picked up

his race packet.

James has been training for this race all season.

Tour de Park City ~ 156 miles from Park City

to Evanston, WY. He is an amazing athlete.

 We had a giant pizza party to get James ready for

his race. We played games and watched

the first National Treasure. The girls LOVED

the movie since we went to Washington DC two years ago. 

  Our hotel had fancy glasses that the girls loved.

Day 1 - The Lodge at Park City

4th Annual Back To School Vacation

Every August we like to take a few days to escape

to Park City with just the 6 of us. We rent a condo,

do Back to School Shopping, swim and relax.

This year we rented a condo at

The Lodge. It was fun to stay right on

the mountain, just steps from the Alpine Slide.

This was our first time taking

our girls on The Alpine Slide.

Lucy LOVED it.

Abby was a natural.  

 We had yummy Rocky Mountain

Chocolate Factory carmeled apples.

 We watched a movie & played games.

 The 3 girls slept on this fun bunkbed.

 Abby got to sleep on this fun murphy bed

& James and I had our own bed and bathroom.

4 Years Old

Lucy is so excited to start Preschool at

Wonderland Preschool with Pam Wing.

Lucy loves tumbling, dancing, singing,

playing Loving Family, and playing barbies.

She is such a peacemaker in our family and always has a smile.

I am so grateful for my four beautiful girls!

Surgery

  On August 7, I ended up at LDS Hospital

Emergency Room.  I was 9 weeks pregnant with baby #5.

We have been excited! We were watching The Tour of Utah

and it felt like my water broke.

 A few days later I was scheduled for a D&C at 

SL Regional Hospital. It was so sad.

We have had so much love and kindness shown to our

family. It has been a very spiritual time for our family

and I trust so much in a loving Father in Heaven. He blesses

us in our trials and I trust Him.
