Abby & all of the 6th graders made hot air balloons
out of tissue paper and glue.
This was Abby's group. They did an amazing job!
Using heat (fire) the kids launched their amazing balloons.
After they launched it the kids would chase after and
retrieve their team balloon. They could launch 3 times.
Abby's team launched so far that the balloon went
beyond school boundaries up and over the trees.
So awesome!

Mrs. Pitt and her husband John Pitt.
She is such a great teacher.
When we lived on Woodland Hills,
her husband John Pitt was our Bishop for several years.
We feel lucky that Abby gets to be in her class this year.
What a fun hands on way to learn science.
