Amelia Island, Florida - Day 3

He had breakfast on the patio and then headed
out for another morning walk along the beach.
This is The Ritz Carlton where we stayed.
It was really fun to stay right on the beach.
 Florida protects their sand dunes.
They protect from hurricanes and large ocean waves.
We saw this large tortoise
every morning in the sand dunes by the hotel.
James had meetings for half of the day.
I headed to the pool again
to read and catch some rays.
In the afternoon, we rented bikes again,
This time we rode 28 miles on Beach Cruises to
the Northern Side of the Island.
We had a lot of fun and this goes down as
my longest ride ever.
I love this beautiful Light House.
We visited Ft Clinch,
Great view of Georgia & Cumberland Island.
Cool old cannons.
Next we rode to Old Towne.
This is Pippy Longstocking's House.
Fresh Island Eagen Creek. Beware of alligators.
It was another fun day on
Amelia Island!
