Week 2 of Summer Fun

It has been another fun week.
This week Abby has been at Girls Camp.
We have missed her,
and can't wait to hear about her fun week
at Heber Valley Girls Camp.
Here are some of the highlights of our week.
Swimming Lessons with Meg
The girls are becoming such great swimmers.
Megan is such a great teacher!
The girls loved being able to swim everyday this week.
We enjoyed a walk & a picnic along the Lagoon Trail.

HIKING
I have a new calling.  I am the Activity Days
leader for the 8-9 year olds in our ward. I LOVE it!
 I get Katers!!
I get to work with Jan Clinger. We took the girls on
a hike on the Holbrook Trail.
Ella cleaned her room! It looks AMAZING!!
I love my dimple girl!

Cute Cousins
Allie just had a new baby, Mya.
We had Sadie & Adi over to play for the afternoon.
James is enjoying his busy, adventurous,
calling in The Bishopbric.
I followed him around last Sunday
and was amazed at all the things he does.
He had to be 3 places at once every hour.
I admire his willingness to serve with a smile.
He did the sharing time for Primary and talked about the
Holy Ghost using a flashlight, seashell, and ear phones.
He did a really good job! I am so glad this guy is mine!
We made cookies! The cutest little chefs!

Cousin Alex came over to play.
It was another fun week! I love summer!

Saturday at Snowbasin

James and I had a fun date to Snowbasin.
James rode his bike all the way from our house
up Emigration and up Big Mountain into Morgan and
up Trappers Loop.  90 miles.
I drove up and met him.
We rode the gondola to the top.
We had lunch at Needles Lodge overlooking
Pineview. It was beautiful.
Gondola ride down! I love this guy!

Week 1 of Summer Fun

We have had a super fun first week of summer!
Our week started with getting to meet The Dehner's
new baby, Ivy.  She was born on June 3,
and she is beautiful.  We are so excited for
The Dehner's and loved getting to hold her.
This week Morgan turns 11. Morgan took Kate to
get pedicures for Morgan's Birthday. These two
are such cute friends. They are like two peas in a pod.
We love the Dehner's.
We met the Bergstedt's at the zoo.
Eliza is 10 months, Graham is 2 and Henry is 4.

Our kids get along so great.

Thanks Erin for the fun day.
This was my first time to the zoo
without a stroller for 12 years!
The girls started a summer tumbling class
with their friends.
Kate, Morgan, Ella & Adelaide
It is so much fun to have friends in their classes.
The Bronson's just moved into our ward.
Ella had her friend Brooklyn over to play.
Abby has had basketball camp
each day this week at  Millcreek
Jr High. It has been fun for
her to get to know the coach
and to get to be with our good friends
Sarah & Sadie again.
They are like big sisters to Abby
and are always looking out for her.
Abby has gone from 12:30-5:00 every day = 22 1/2 hours of
basketball this week and she LOVES it!!

Lucy is amazing.
She can do it! She can lift her head off the ground!
Lucy graduated from the TOTS dance class
to the MICROS dance class this week.
Lucy did amazing on her first day. She listened well.
She is really young for this class, but I think she is up
for the challenge and she is SO excited.
She is starting her 3rd year of dance.
Ella graduated from the MINI class
and is now in the SMALLS class.
Ella's new class has a lot more tumbling.
She is excited for the new challenge.
The weather has been nice and cool.
We have been going to the park
everyday this week.
Lucy still loved to go with me on walks.
Lately Lucy has been getting out of the stroller
and running. She is adorable!
We visited the Fire Engine Park this week
and got Keva Juice. Nice and relaxing day!
I love that these sisters are best friends!!

One of our summer goals is to READ, READ, READ.
All of our girls are great readers.  It was fun to go to the
library and get new books.  Keep it up girls!

Lucky 37th Birthday

A Texas Style Birthday
I am one of those people who loves their Birthdays!
I love my Birthday!!
This year James planned a red, white & blue
Texas Birthday for me.
James shaped yogurt & fruit into the Texas Flag.
He also made breakfast cake.
We went to see the movie Inside Out.
We had dinner at TEXAS roadhouse.
My big present this year is airplane tickets
to Texas to visit San Antonio, Austin & Dallas as a family.
I love my Texas cowboy and Texas Cowgirls.
It will be fun to take our family to Texas soon!
