Beautiful B

We headed up to Park City on Friday night
for dinner and shopping.
Coming home, we spotted this on the hill.
We took this picture from our back deck.
I wish they would ALWAYS light it up!

WHS Football Game

Grammy was honored at West High School tonight!
She received an honorary degree for her MANY hours of service.
She served on the Salt Lake School Board and continues to serve on Capitol Hill Kiwanis.
She also helps sponsor a Kiwanis scholarship, funded by selling concessions at football games.
All 7 of her children, and spouses and grand kids
were invited to join her on the football field during halftime.
James Mom, Karen being interviewed for TV West.
We joined Mommy Allo and family in the stands.
At 94, Mommy Allo is AMAZING!
Tammy braving the cool air!
Luckily we had great weather.
Papa J flipin' burgers at the football game.
Way to go Grammy!
We are all amazed at how much you give.

Lucy - 7 1/2 Months

Give Me Five
This week Lucy learned how to give five.
It is her new favorite game.
Lucy waving goodbye to the Bumbo chair.
Lucy is graduating from her Bumbo chair, and giving it back to
Spencer for his turn to learn how to sit!
Lucy took her first crawling steps.
She lifting her knee and moved for the first time Friday night.
I am kind of sad! Each stage brings excitement and a little sadness.
I never want any of my babies to grow up!!!
Lucy's first and last taste of jello.
In all 8 years of being a Mom, this was by far the messiest mess to clean up.
Jello on the carpet, jello in her diaper, and all over her hair.
She looked like Rudolph with her red nose.
Lucy Grace was so red, the bath water even turned red.
Goodbye jello. Hello bread and other clean finger foods!

Kate VIP Week

Kate was the VIP at school this week.
She asked her Dad to help her make the coolest poster.
They spent nearly 6 hours putting together this poster.
It was a Masterpiece. So cute and so Kate!
Mrs. Thornell and
Kate's Kindergarten class.
On Friday, I got to go in and share some fun things about Kate.
I took a picnic basket, because Kate LOVES picnics.
I filled the basket with things that describe Kate.
We also made ghost suckers at Kate's request.
Kate's Grandma called her later in the day to ask how her special VIP
day at school was. Kate said,
"It was pretty much the best day in my whole entire life."
We love our cute Kate!!!

Miss Mommy's

Kate and Ella have insisted that they are still not too old for Miss Mommy's.
So between Kindergarten and Preschool, we occasionally squeeze it in!
Yesterday, we talked about penny's, nickles, dimes and quarters. Then we made a pretend store where they could come and count their money and buy treats.
I love playing with these girls!
